i do in fact both see and love you all
internet archive tragically removed an important tactic for 'spidering' through the various cultures that inhabit it: previously, you could search a particular work and see a list of individuals whose favorites that work was in, see what else they had in there, and so on. this let you cut across the behavior of users of the site rather than the raw dataset itself, which undermines culture formation.
at any rate, it makes me feel that making a list such as this is much more valuable than it previously would've been
tip: routinely look at the uploader of files for anything you find interesting! you'll begin to detect which are institutional mass-uploaders and which are individuals with more interesting and complicated motives, etc. nothing against the former (and infinite respect to, eg, Sketch the Cow), this list is just specifically about the latter.
i used to know a lot more of these, now i struggle to remember them, work in prog obv
this is focused on interesting uploaders which is distinctly different from interesting favoriters, for anyone who cares about that distinction
